This notice covers this website, mesavolt.net. It does not cover the mesavolt app, which comes with its own notice. The app keeps your work on your devices and does not contact this website.

The short version

• If you join the waitlist we keep your email address, and anything you choose to tell us in the form.
• We run no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind. The site sets no cookies.
• Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe and never reach us.
• You can ask us to see, correct or delete what we hold about you at any time by writing to support@ongandu.com.

What we collect

The waitlist

When you join the waitlist we store:

• your email address;
• your answer to the optional question in the form, if you give one;
• whether you asked for development updates as well as the launch email;
• when you joined, which page the form was on, and your browser's user agent string (the name and version of your browser and operating system), which helps us tell real sign-ups from automated ones.

We use this to write to you when mesavolt is ready to buy, to send development updates if you asked for them, and to learn what people need from a project management app. We do not share the list, sell it or add it to anyone else's.

Emails you send us

If you write to us, we keep your message and address so we can reply and follow up.

Your IP address

Like every website, ours sees the IP address of each visitor. We use it only to protect the site and the waitlist from abuse, and do not store it.

The demo board

The board on the home page runs entirely in your browser on sample data. What you do there may be kept in your browser's own storage so the board is as you left it next time. None of it is sent to us.

What we do not collect

No analytics, no advertising or social media pixels, no cookies, no fingerprinting and no session recordings. We do not build profiles of visitors.

Handling payments

Unless otherwise specified, this Application processes any payments by credit card, bank transfer or other means via external payment service providers. In general and unless where otherwise stated, Users are requested to provide their payment details and personal information directly to such payment service providers. This Application isn't involved in the collection and processing of such information: instead, it will only receive a notification by the relevant payment service provider as to whether payment has been successfully completed.

Stripe

• Stripe is a payment service provided by Stripe Inc, Stripe Technology Europe Ltd or by Stripe Payments Ltd, depending on the location this Application is accessed from.
• Personal Data processed: billing address; email address; first name; last name; payment info.
• Place of processing: United States – Privacy Policy; Ireland – Privacy Policy; United Kingdom – Privacy Policy.

Legal basis for processing

We process personal data when one of the following applies:

• you have given your consent, as when you join the waitlist or ask for development updates;
• it is necessary to perform a contract with you, or to take steps you asked for before entering one, as when you buy mesavolt;
• it is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, such as keeping records of sales for tax purposes;
• it is necessary for our legitimate interests, such as replying to your emails and protecting the site and waitlist from abuse.

If you are unsure which basis applies to something, ask us and we will explain.

Where your data is processed

We are based in the United Kingdom. Where a provider listed above processes data in another country, the transfer is covered by that provider's safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. You can ask us for details.

How long we keep it

• Waitlist entries: until you ask us to remove you, or until we stop running the waitlist, whichever comes first. Every email we send will say how to stop receiving them.
• Emails you send us: for as long as the conversation needs, and then no longer than two years.
• Purchase records: for six years, as UK tax law requires.

Once a retention period ends the data is deleted, after which we can no longer act on requests about it.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• Withdraw your consent at any time, for anything we process on the basis of consent, such as the waitlist.
• Object to processing we carry out on the basis of legitimate interests.
• Access your data: learn whether we process it and get a copy.
• Have it corrected if it is inaccurate or out of date.
• Restrict processing in some circumstances, so we only store the data and do nothing else with it.
• Have it deleted.
• Receive it in a structured, machine readable format and have it passed to someone else.
• Complain to a data protection authority. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office; elsewhere, the authority where you live.

Write to support@ongandu.com. It costs nothing, and we will answer as soon as we can and always within one month.

Other things you should know

Legal action

We may use personal data in court, or in the steps leading to it, if the site or our services are misused. We may also be required by law to disclose personal data to public authorities.

Do Not Track

There is no tracking on this site for a Do Not Track request to switch off.

Changes to this notice

We may change this notice. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change affects something you consented to, we will ask for your consent again where the law requires it.

Legal information

This notice is written to meet the UK General Data Protection Regulation, the Data Protection Act 2018 and Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the GDPR). It applies only to this website.
